Lauren Hannaford is a former elite gymnast turned health and fitness professional. With a background in gymnastics, Lauren has created her own style of workout which utilises core gymnastics skills and exercises, allowing her to focus on strength and conditioning with her clients. Lauren’s interval style workout was created with the premise that you can train anytime, anywhere. 6:00am

WAKE UP!! It is up and at it this morning to spend a bit of time with my boyfriend before he heads off to work and i get my day under way. I have two glasses of water first off which I believe is the most important way to start the day.

7:00am

Now it’s work out time. Making sure I start my day feeling fit and energised with a 60 minute interval bodyweight workout before my first client of the day. A morning sweat mesh gets me motivated like nothing else.

8:30am

It’s then onto checking all the important things in life like Instagram and Facebook. Work emails are in the mix there as well accompanied with a IsoWhey post workout refueller. Followed by a bowl of morning glory toasted muesli, some all natural greek yoghurt, blueberries and some Hannaford homemade stewed plums and relax for a moment by the window before heading outside for my morning client. This delicious healthy breaky will keep me going until lunchtime.

9:30am

I have 2 back to back clients for the morning, which luckily for me are both in the same location for today. Then I head back inside and whip up my favourite smoothie with my amazing Nutri Ninja consisting of coconut water, blueberries, raspberries and vanilla IsoWhey WPI+ drizzled with Manuka honey.

12:30pm

I take myself for a walk into Coogee with my notebook and laptop in tow for a lunch meeting at The Pavilion. Signed sealed and delivered is the Poached chicken and farro salad, cooks co-op rocket, roasted almonds with green goddess dressing salad and also the Cuttlefish, chilli, garlic, parsley with lemon. YUUUUUUMMMMMM is all I have to say about that!!!

2:30pm

Now that I am well fed and completely full I whip out my laptop post meeting, ready to work on some blog posts. One of them being for my new site www.laurenhannaford.com.au. Then it is onto some online interviews and workout write ups.

4:00pm

Joined by my boyfriend we wrap up the afternoon with a delicious Will & Co latte at The Pavilion before heading off to Maloney’s grocer in Coogee for tonight's dinner.

Dinner time, finishing up the day in the kitchen together is the best! We are cooking some little lamb steaks with a side of greens, beets and baby potato salad…. Such a fav of mine!… Ok fine, I have a few pieces of chocolate as well afterwards ;) Now it's onto some tragic yet fantastically addictive all american reality tv before sleepy time.
